Jaime Looten

“Hello. I am Jaime Looten, I am 35 years old. I am originally from Alberta and have lived on the island for 12 years, taking ownership of Arbour Cottage in 2015. I have been an LPN for 2 years and completed my schooling at Camosun College in Victoria, BC. I have experience as a care aide in long term care and acute care as well. I have 4 children, I love the outdoors and hockey is a passion for me. I love working with the elderly and take pride in providing residents and patients with great care.”


Amanda Fox

“My name is Amanda Fox. I have been in the food industry for 14 years. The last 10 years, I have been working for Vancouver Island Health Authority in all aspects of the kitchen. I have food safe level 1 also my advanced food safe certifications. I began working in the field of residential care with Island Health in 2012. I really enjoyed the interaction part of residential care. I found my passion for cooking to be more rewarding when it includes interacting with the people you cook for. I am originally from Ontario but have been an islander for 24 years. I love the island and all it has to offer.”
